Yasmine Aamin was born in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and moved to Canada in 1993 with her family. As an Iranian-Canadian having lived in Dubai she is proficient in three languages: English, Arabic and Farsi. Her parents moved back to Dubai when she was 14 years of age, so the other half of growing up happened in Canada through friends, family, and the community. "I am an extroverted introvert,with a love for science, culture, music, art, languages, and freedom. I am an actress, singer, songwriter, rebel, community child, and a member of the human race.
